You're in luck! There sure is a way to do this, so allow me to explain.

When you click any menu in Internet Explorer, you will notice that it opens with a fade effect. This feature for opening all the menus is defaulted by Windows, but that doesn't mean you can't change it. So, if you are an avid IE user and want to know whether you can change the way your menus open, this tip is just for you.

Apart from the fade effect, Microsoft Windows XP has another option called the scroll effect. This is available for anyone who wants a visual change on their computer. Here's how you can find this option and change it up!

1.) Right click on your desktop and select Properties.

2.) The Display Properties window will appear.

3.) Select the Appearance tab.

4.) Now, you will notice a command button called Effects. Click on it.

5.) The Effects window will open.

6.) Now, under the option of �?STRONG>Use the following transition effect for menus and tooltips,�?you will notice the fade effect is selected by default.

7.) Click on the down arrow to select the scroll effect and click on OK twice to close all the opened boxes.

From now on, when you take your cursor to any menu item, you will find that menu scrolling right in front of you. Cool, huh?!
