Let The Day Lead Me

Let the day lead me
to do all that is right,
And then let it continue
into the dark of night.

Let me lend a helping hand
to someone who's in need,
Let me do His work
in whatever field He leads.

I'll always give Him credit
for the good that has come my way,
My family, friends "How very blessed,"
I shall always say.

Thank you, Lord,
How gracious You have been,
Let the day lead me
After the rain and to the rainbow's end.

My pot of gold awaits me,
A true treasure I have found,
But it's not the material things that matter,
What counts are the stars in my crown.
