No no no no girl!
BLISS is an illusion. Don't let those ass holes drag you down
It just occured to me that the reason they left it so late to say about the record is due to the assumption that no one with a record would make it thu the screening up to that point. Well didn't you show them.

I had a flash back of the 'taste' the other night and I was so grateful I don't have the resources to fall.

Just keep telling ourselves - the bliss is an illusion.

Im feeling alittle better now. drank a couple beers lol

Thank You for the worries - its nice to know people are listening

Bliss is one of those feelings that can be found in many places...Maybe Im just getting easier to please or just getting old yet I can find bliss  98% of the time by seeking it in whatever I do...Or possibly bliss is merely a by-product of sobriety...Keep the Faith,,,,FC

Speak for yourself on the old frount Buddy!!!!!
I think any one who has quit has an unique insight to life. It's like finding out the secret that every one was keeping from you.
One day the skies clear, the roses start to smell and it isn't so bad after all.
Heroin taught me life was worth living. That's my bliss. That was Heroins gift to me.
After ALL the pain and unexplicable heart ache, the sun came out. I often wonder if I would've seen the good if I hadn't had to fight our beloved demon.
Does any of that make sensee?

To each his/her own!!  This site is for ALL junkies & Ex-junkies & Family or friends of junkies  & everyone else,,
We're not here to judge others..What works for you might not work for others-- Its very nice of you to share your insights & they may very well help others,--BUT don't expect everyone to come to the same conclusions as you did---  There is NO "One Size fits all" solution to heroin addiction---Some swear by methadone, some believe in cold turkey, some need AA/NA, some benefit from one on one therapy, some need group therapy, -Some need a combination of the above, etc etc etc,, Whatever works for you is right for you---- & not EVERYONE is seeking TOTAL ABSTINENCE either---Some consider Harm Reduction as a realistic solution & goal---I've been around the Junk scene for over 40 years & all I know is that different strokes work for different folks----One can find pragmatic wisdom from a wide variety of sources--So take whatever wisdom fits & works for you & file the rest away for future referance...
Good luck to All you guys, there's Hope for All of Us...
