I can tell you alot about buprenorphine & pregnancy as i have just been thru it. I was the trial at Australia. My baby is now 3 months old. She had no withdrawals at all. Within 2 hours of dose there was not much movement but before my dose there was alot. I was the only case within my clinic & beyond that was known of. My baby is happy & healthy, thank god. I was told there is more of a chance of baby withdrawing from methadone than there is from subutex. My friend is on 12mls of methadone & had a baby 2 months ago. He is still in hospital withdrawing the poor little thing.

Just thought this might interest some people. Contact me if anyone wants more information.

Jenni.

Hi Jenni,

That's valuable information..thanks for sharing it. As well it's good to hear you and the baby are doing so well. Congratulations on the little one. May her life be a long healthy and happy one.

I'm sure anything you have to offer in the way of experience while pregnant and on Buprenorphine will be much appreciated. As you say it's not a well known or much heard about situation. If you have any more memories.. even the smallest detail..perhaps when you have time (busy new mom that you are, you could write them here or start a new thread.

Thanks again and have the best of days..both of you
Sha
