I wanted to say thank's to you karen,Shar.Philly! Iam touched by all three of you!  I was feeling alone and defeated, and I could not tell the loved ones here at home that the junkie in me was begging to get out, telling them would have stirred up old dirt and I did'nt want that and I could not have dealt with that on top of my struggles. Iam truely greatfull that i found this great group of people here. I read alot of the post, and when someone post's that things are not so good, others will post back to help. It's just touch's my heart that so many hoh members have reached out to me. thanks

also i have a ?? Iam on suboxone and iam trappering off,and since i've gone down in my dose i have been having really bad nightmare's,has anyone else on suboxone had more dream's since being on suboxone?

Hey honey,
And you are welcome.  I am one of those lucky ones that gets to stay at home and be on the computer all day where as others have to go out in the world and do what they need to do.  That is why I can post so much.  I don't think people are ignoring you or that they don't care it's just that sometimes when they are able to post the post that they are reading is old and they don't think they need to post.  That is why I believe your posts are only answered by the ones you mentioned.  I am glad that we were able to help when it was needed that is my purpose now to help the addict that still suffers.  For me that is truly a blessing.  Myself with others have seen so many people die to this cunning, demoralizing, insidious disease that it is so gratifying to just help one person stay here one more day.  I hope you use us as much as you need to and maybe someday you can come out and really tell on your disease with others.  Love and thoughts Phillygirl

Oh yeah, by the way, lolol  I do have nightmares but I have had them all along on methadone and when I got off.  I still have them on occasion but just not as bad.   The doctor told me that we experience such drama out there using that we will have dreams for a while and some of us need further meds for that situation,so if it gets to bad go see a phisycian.  Love ya Philly

Right back at ya Bright..your posts do alot for me too. I know how much easier it is to get the stuff out here than at home. We don't want to worry..disappoint..scare..or have them think we are getting weak again..that kind of thing. Even though these thoughts are not a weakness..it seems only other addicts (and people who spend alot of time learning about addiction), can relate too it as something that's part of the process.

As for nightmares coming off of Sub..I've never been on it but seems to me I've read more than a few times some people have them. I know I did with Methadone for a while when I was at a high dose. They probably had more to do with my state of mind than anything else.

Take care an have a great week-end.
Sha
