Heritics of Heroin

Greetings fellow psychonauts, I'd not been around in so long(and the fact we're using a new PC)I had to sign up with the Live ID thing with a new handle, fronobulax56, and a new password. Anyway, hope all is going as smooth as possible for all the heretics. Lee and I are going through some really tight times financially. I know, join the club right? I'm the only one working at present and being a painter, the season is basically over so the company I work for(small family operated biz)is slowing down. I haven't had a forty hour week in five weeks. I gotta tell the clinic that my seventy a week fee is too much right now, they gotta chop that shit in half for a little while, damn. I put off paying a bill this week so I could pay my seventy dollars last friday so I'd be covered for the next week. I'm bringing my last four pay stubs; twenty hour week, thirty hour week, thirty one hour week etc. If they don't work with me then I'll just tell them to start the detox. I'll go down five milligrams a month for three months then six milligrams every two months till I'm off. I been on the program at forty five mg. for just over four months and the seventy dollars a week is just too much man. Really I should just detox off anyway. I've used six times in four months but one bag doesn't do too much when ya got 45 mg. methadone in your system already. It's not a blocking dose but it holds me just fine. Even though I think the clinic is using the cheapest methadone on the market, a product manufactured somewhere outside the U.S. in a poorer nation, where the pharmaceutical regulations aren't as stringent as here or in Europe or where ever. Plus the word going around the clinic is that certain of the dispensary nurses are in cahoots with the program administrator in skimming the supply jugs and filling the difference with water. Yea, these people really care about the addict/patients at this particular clinic. I definitely sense the vibe from the staff of moral superiority over us lowly junky trash. I want to tell them all to go get on dope for awhile, you know, a six to eight month run, get good and hooked and then come back and tell me what you think about what you learned about addicts and addiction in your books and classes. It is my opinion that there can be no true bonding, sympathy, or empathy between counselor and patient unless the counselor is a recovering/recovered addict. Period. Book learned just don't cut it for subject/disease/illness,etc. O.K. then, Lee and are hanging in there by the skin of our teeth, but we're still around. Forgive me for being a stranger lately y'all, wanted to let y'all know I'm still alive and popping in once in a blue moon to lurk about a bit.
