As some of you know, I was placed on methadone by an overzealous idiot of a doctor for pain management.  This was round about November.  In January, I broke my hand and came here trying to find out what I could and could not take with the meth for the pain I was having on top of what's "normal" for me.  I got a lot of really good suggestions (thanks, guys!) but nothing my doctor gave me was able to do me any good.
 
This has got me thinking.  I have been, for the most part, abstaining from opiates while I'm still on the methadone, but I don't know how long it's going to be before I can get back off of it.  In the meantime, what can I take for recreational purposes?  I'm not very interested in any sort of upper whatsoever, and barbs are just not my thing.  Any suggestions?
 
and I'm not trying to cop it here.

BY NOW THERE'S NOT MUCH THAT COVERS BREAK THRU PAIN
MEDS. DEPENDING ON YOUR DOSE. IF IT'S HIGH OVER 100
NOT MUCH WILL HELP EXCEPT MORE METH.  PERSCIPTION
ANTIINFLAMITORIES NOT TO MUCH. EXCUSE MY SPELLING....

                  that is not true because taking more meth does nothing for breakthrough pain and if you are prescribed the right drug and dose you will get good results depending on the origin of your pain. Also 100mg is not a high dose it just reaches the theraputic range of 80-120mg and somepeople may require upwards to 200to 300 or more mg of meth split in 3 - 5 doses over the course of the day,
Msir 15-30mg takened as needed every 4 hrs works good for b/t pain or oxyfast 20mg they work quite well with a long acting opioid such as methadone.

What can I take to get high though?  I can deal with quite a bit of pain, so I just gave up on anything for "breakthrough" pain;  now I'm more concerned with what I can take and will work for recreational purposes.

sorry to point out the obvious but if you lay off the done for 24hours then have a hit it'll work or take a bigger hit or take a double dose of the done- i do all three regularly depending on what mood takes me. Im looking forward to tomorrow- my ol lady is away for the day so i will go out and score early then have a blissed out day watchin teevee nodding out and wonderring what happened the prog i was watching (repeat for 5 hours).BTW is there anything that can make the m'done 'stronger'.

It's so wonderful to hear from you!  How's everything been going?  I miss you posting!  I really do.  Thanks for the tips. . . it may feel to you like you're pointing out the obvious, but I seriously hadn't thought about that.  How dumb am I?
