Hey Rose,

First off the choice to get back on methadone is yours and yours alone..try and not let the bias or non bias of others influences your decision either way. You know who you are better than anyone..trust Rose to make the right dicision for Rose. Of all that I've come to know about you Rose I truly feel you are qualified to make that choice now more than ever. If after all you've been through you still feel 'not right' off of opiates or methadone..still feel shitty or not yourself..then it must be for a physiological reason. If the lack of such drugs is affecting physiological factors in your body then you know what you have to do.

You could do far worse Rose than be on methadone. Just allow it to be the medicine in your life and not your life..if you do that others will surely follow suit. Refuse to allow anyone..yourself included to take any more precious quality life time living away becuase of what could or could not be 'right.' It is what it is and nothing more.

Be well
Sha

Hi Veronica,

Didn't I write to you before about your heart problem and the problem I have with my heart??

You have to be so careful going off the zanax and you should never do it alone, with out medical supervision.
When you had the seizure were you under medical care??
Sweety, you have to be really careful because you don't want to lose your fight now.
Joanne/sprainedmybrain could help you more on that, she doing well tapering off I believe ativan.

Are you on methadone for H addiction??
Why do you want to go off, is it not working well for you??
Does it keep you from using?

Veronica, did the doctor ever give you a diagnosis for your heart??
Sorry so many questions,  LOL, that's just me, hee hee.
You can write me at my email address if you want, [email protected]

Love and Hugs Karen

Sinking:
Everyone has a different story I guess I'm lucky methadone got me off the dope. I believe it's all up to you and how bad you want to stay off the shit.  With the right doctors you can get off of methadone too. I did, and while on Hepatitis C treatment. I was tired of being tired and had enough for that day and today.  And no I am not in NA (not knocking it by the way) but have been there.   Ask yourself this How do you want off the drugs?  I can help with a little advice if you decide to go on methadone.
Good luck
Leo

Hi Rose,  Its nice to hear from you, We missed you.
How come your doctor decided he doesnt want you on suboxone anymore???
Is it because of the pain you are in?
Suboxen is a great pain reliever, at least thats what i read when i decided to go on it to get off the pain meds i was on for 3 yrs.
I couldnt tolerate the Suboxen because of the Naloxene in it so the doctor switched me to subutex and it helped immensly.
When i was taking Suboxen i was throwing up every single day.
Since going on the Subutex i have felt much better but i still struggle with Nausea.

I know several people who are on methadone for pain and they say it helped more then any other pain med they have taken in the past.
If you go on methadone will your doctor prescibe it for you or do you have to go thru the clinic system??
I pray you dont have to do that, ive heard that the clinic system is so broken and its an awful way to have to live.
Let us know what you decide to do ok??
All my love Karen
