I keep seeing postings for this group that suggest (insist?) that methadone is bad for one's liver. On what is this opinion based on? I have searched and searched the net and found not one iota of evidence to suggest this was true. Can someone direct me to a site with some hard data? I am not interested in conjecture. Thanks.

Steve, there is so much stigma and false truths about methadone that you never know whats right or wrong..
I know for a fact that methadone is one of the safest medications out there for opiate addiction..
If anyone doubts this check out the NAMA site..
