Good Morning All,,,

Another fine hot/humid day here,,,supposed to be 95...I will be doing a few home repairs and hauling today for a lady,,,then pick up my special friend from summer school at 4 and keep him until his mother arrives home sometime tonight...I will swim with him and practice baseball then take him with me to my 7pm meeting...I look forward to my 2nd lens replacement surgery Aug 3rd and also in Aug the VA will insert an electronic nerve blocker device along side of my spine in hopes of ridding me of the pain and my blood sugar is under control,,,so damn it looks like I may be getting healthy...LOLOLOL..The VA rep informed me that my Agent Orange pension should be finalized within 60 days and then we apply for the 100% service connected pension AND I can continue to legally collect the pension I have now from a source other then the military...It will be well and good if that comes to pass,,, yet I take nothing for granted...My tomatoes are starting to ripen on the vine so youre all invited for tomato sandwiches......Keep the Faith.....FC

sounds like things are going well for you.  If I read correctly, my mom just had that laser lens surgery on one eye along with a cataract removal. she said she was sedated and it didn't hurt. She is going to have the other one done next week.  She told me that she can see really good with the one eye and won't need glasses afterwards. She has worn bifocals forever so this is a real treat to her.  I hope you have the same success. My mom doesn't have to worry about money so she is fortunate to get the best care. It's funny, I worked in hospitals for years before I had my stroke 5 years ago.  I could watch anything, people coming into the ER that were coding after a bad car accident, watch open heart surgery, but can't stomach anybody having something done to their eyes to toenails..creeps me out. Good luck, you are a brave person.  Lori
