For those of you expecting something sex related sorry to disappoint you...

Quickie update on my life

My Dad is in total remission after his bone marrow transplant - it should have taken until at least Dec. 26 for that to happen....God's miracles.

My Grandfather has been in the hospital for almost 2  weeks with all kinds of problems, dementia, bad lungs, kidneys, operation on his leg which was posioning him...  he is 83... I'm the power of attorney - so it's been non stop for me between working 40 hrs a week.... hospital visits, putting his affairs in order.

BrokenButLoved.... moving slowly forward... money is an issue... last night however I did speak with my Juvenile "youths" and it was AWESOME!!!!!!! Four out of the seven kids actually talked....yes they spoke real words and we had a real discussion and I felt like I really connected... Angie was right there beside me... I could feel her.
I am holding a candle light vigil on December 13th... so I'm trying to work all of that out....

So - don't think I am not thinking of all of you and keeping your in my prayers because I am.  I could never have come this far without all of you. God Bless You... stay strong.... stay hopeful...

Be Blessed
Rose

Rose -

This is fantastic, honey. Thank you for sharing. December 13th is my birthday!! I'm happy to hear that you are speaking with the youth who might be troubled. In my job, that's what I do, too. It's such a worthwhile life, because you love and listen to those that are usually hated and ignored. These children need us more than we need them, but you'd be surprised by 1) how much they will act like they don't and 2) how much you'll come to love and need them, too.

Glad to hear all is well. Keep checking back!

Hi Rose,

Sounds like you sure have a lot of serious situations going on all at once.  I'm sorry for all you are dealing with healthwise with your family and I am sure they are blessed to have you taking care of them.  I'll keep you all in my prayer's.

Congratulations on all you are doing with your speaking and I'm impressed that the kids are already feeling comfortable enough to talk and not just sit and listen.  That speaks volumes for the environment you are creating for them that they don't have anywhere else.

Take care of yourself too and keep us posted.  You blow me away with your energy.

God Bless, Jack
