Hey Spirit,
You sound like such a sweet girl. That was really a nice post and I really appreciate your thoughtfulness. I do remember posting something in a thread I think you started.
How are you doing? I know from some of what I've read you've had a really terrible time but your posts are always so positive. For all you've been through, you must be one strong person and I know that's far from easy.
I hadn't thought of this site as a family but I think you're exactly right. I am coming to feel like I have some kind of family, which I don't in my own life and its a very comforting feeling.
Please keep taking care of yourself and I pray that you find peace and happiness. You deserve it and more honey. Thanks again for your post.
God Bless, Jack |

Hi momkaren, I am getting that family vibe more and more:-) And you defnitly seem to be a big part in making it that way. Your messages are always positive and right on the mark. Even though you are not a user yourself and from what i have pieced together from old posts, heroin has done you and your family alot of damage and harm, yet you still are so supportive and accepting of everyone here. I really truely think your an amazing person for that. I am still quite overwelmed with how supportive and helpful everyone here has been. Thankyou:-) Anna P.s how are you going after your op? |

Anna, thats very nice of you to say. When i found this site i did so because my son died and I just couldnt understand what i missed and how he could of gotten involved in H. Since his death ive learned a world of things. First and foremost that addicts are smart, articulate, loving people, sometimes too sensitive for their own good. Since Losing my son i had a back injury and was on morphine for 3 yrs. I struggled coming off of it and it made me realize somewhat what it was like For Gino. Fortunately i had the ability and means to go on Suboxone. I wouldnt change a thing in my life. I believe everything is exactly as it should be and Im learning along the way... ( sometimes i learn the hard way, lol) Im glad you found a place to write your feelings here. Judging and criticism isnt allowed here so you can feel safe. Love Karen |

This seems like such a fast paced forum, like you've all been around here for a long time, Everyone seems to know everyone. I'm kinda shy hence My sister got hassled her whole life about her name I got my share "Shy Sky" don'tcha ever talk?I was sooo shy as a kid my parents were the really weird ones compared to other kids families, I was always embarassed and would loose the parent /teacher talks papers that the schools send home. They didn't notice so I got by with never having a teacher meet my mom and dad in elementary, high school was a lot diffferent but I'll save that for another 100 yrs. But I do enjoy reading the posts take care and BE SAFE EVERYONE!!!! Sky |
