HERE I AM!!!
I have been a busy little elf!!
Not because I am engaging in the frivolity of the season -
(there are many ethical issue's behind that one)
but because I have stepped out into the world
and, it could be considered,
I am 'doing the right thing'.
As you all know I started working, l
ike a productive little chicken.
It is wonderful finacially speaking,
but torturous physically speaking.
As a result I have stopped dogging Dr's
(yes believe it or not - I was avoiding a few),
and now have a long and impressive ACTIVE list.
It kinda feels good.
You know, getting out there willingly
instead of maintaining the status-quo.
PUTTING myself out there is a bit different.
I stayed with my bro-in-law
while Selena was IN ALBANY.
Different.
He and I generally see things.... differently.
So yes - DIFFERENT!!
Yet no blood was shed, nor fights had.
I saw a friend I hadn't for 5 odd years,
and I FINALLY met Selena's half brother.
Been avoiding that one like the plauge.
I also made friends with the cool,
if not 'quirky' guy next door.
All with out some one holding my hand or to hide behind.
It wasn't even scay -
I suspect I was to tired to be freaked!
My voice had been gone for over a week,
from sheer exhaustion, until this weekend.
Selena has taken Lily to Perth.
I have surprised myself with the amount I have slept.
My voice, however, has returned.
Now I just have to catch up on
the house work and washing.....
before I start work at 5am tomorrow!!!!
Alot of barriers have come down now that Sel & I
have 're-established' our relationship.
I am even making friends at/from work.
Turns out being me isn't so bad after all!!
I'm still putting on weight -
I eat if I'm left alone with my brain to long!!!
Two steps forward and all that!!
I am facing the greatest fear of all
getting on the plane to go to NSW.
This time next week I will be there -
THANK GOD
and will have a WHOLE 9 DAYS to
psych myself up for the flight home.
I am NOT a travellor.
For all the bitching and moaning I have done,
I'm not even worried about the other end.....YET!!!!!
What ever will be will be.
As usual my daughter is brilliant!!
Dealing with every thing like a trooper.
Enjoying the perk's,
bitching about the.. ahh.. not so perk's!!!

I have been off site, (well kind of lurking),
due to my chaotic, yet productive life.
I am returning emails - work has a computer (!!!),
I don't like to get on site there though
(can't imagine why!!).

We have found a way to quite happily avoid each other,
