my baby girl...
sweet
innocent
lovable.
she's...
beautiful
wonderful
bright
she'll never...
judge you
hate you
condemn you
she'll always...
love you
trust you
make you laugh
it breaks my heart when she...
cries
screams
throws tantrums
or when she's...
sick
angry
isn't happy
but she knows i...
love her
care for her
would do anything for her
and she knows her daddy would...
die for her
protect her
cheer her up when she's down
so she won't...
turn out like her daddy

Punk-  all three of your poems are beautiful; as I've said many time IMO you're a gifted writer.  Just wanted to make one comment on the last line of this poem:  while I hope Julie doesn't have to go thru what you've been thru, she'll be just fine if she turns out like you.

Marco,   I was helping a Youngman on another group, his name is Ronnie and he reminds me so much of punk as they both are intelligent youngmen that have been through hell and back and he has 2 kids and not even 16 yet but his writings remind me of punk, where you can hear their pain and you can see their talent. Here is a link if anyone would like to read part of his story written by him.

much love
Claude

PUNK,
I'm so sorry that you and J are having problems and that she is not allowing you to see Julie right now. Your poems are so touching and they really express your feelings very well. I can't imagine how togh things are for you right now. Hang in there maybe J will lighten up and let you see Julie again real soon.
Hugs,
Sharon

Hi Punk,

Congratulations on Julie!  I adore babies, they are truly such a joy.  I also was moved by your poem - great form of expression.  I have one little comment though, towards the end of your poem.  I hope that Julie does grow up to have a lot of you in her.  You're a very special guy and if she absorbs any of that, God, she's going to be an incredible person.  As much as we don't want our kids to inherit what we consider our "not so good qualities", speaking for myself, I get the greatest sense of joy in seeing the good, loveable, funny, intelligent and compassionate things I believe my kids get from my husband and I and in how we tried to raise them.  Those are true signs of rewarding accomplishment in parenting..... Bless you and your new little daughter.

Love, Joanne

To laugh often and much; to win
the respect of intelligent people
and the affection of children; to
earn the appreciation of honest
critics and to endure the
betrayal of false friends; to
appreciate beauty; to find the
best in others; to leave the
world a bit better whether by a
healthy child, a garden patch or
a redeemed social condition; to
know even one life has breathed
easier because you have lived.
This is to have succeeded.

Hey Punk - as everyone said - you shouldnt hope that Julie doesnt turn out like you - you should just hope that she doesnt go through all the shit that you did. Beautiful poem.

Claude - i am in absolute shock - i just read that poor guys story. I know it happens but i feel sick thinking about a mother (or any person) being that screwed up that they do that to their OWN flesh and blood.
Poor guy ....

Sorry that I'm just replying but I just returned today from our cruise, I know it is such a tragedy foe a biological mother to do this to their child.
