The pain is gone, the hurt is done

From the moment of birth

until the last breath

She was never alone

not even in death

My arms have held her

every step of the way

that she is alone

she is finally home

For she my daughter too

Its the end of the journey

this road you've been on

At times have been

so very long

Its time to rest
