POLISH SAUSAGE AND KRAUT

1 can sauerkraut, drained
1/2 tsp. celery seed or caraway
1 Polish ring sausage (about 1 lb.)
1 tsp. basil
3 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 c. hot water

Mix sauerkraut and seed in a casserole dish; add the sausage. Dissolve brown sugar in water; dribble over sauerkraut and sausage. Cover and bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees.

This turned out perfect, it reminded everyone of their mom's recipe. Good memories of Christmas' from the past, with some of the same traditions to keep alive. Another Christmas Eve to remember....

Oh yes it does and it did, this is the BEST recipe for sausage and kraut and got it from my sista :) Brett couldn't stay out of it LOL
