My owner left me tied to a tree and pregnant

They have moved away and it has been

couple of days since I last saw them,

I wait and no one comes

Did I do something wrong to be punished like this?

My food has been gone since yesterday and my water dish dumped

My belly grumbles with hunger and my puppies are moving around

more.

I an almost due to have my puppies

I lay down and sleep under the stars.

The next day a nice lady comes

She puts a leash on me and take me away.

Still no sign of my owners

I have lost so much weight from lack of food

I am put into a truck and taken away

I look out the window for any signs of my owner.

We arrive to this place and I hear a lot of dogs barking

The pound is full

I am placed in a kennel with canned food mixed with dry

They bring me some water

I eat the food like there was no tomorroq

A lady brings in a blanket for me to sleep on

She gives me some attention and pats my head

I lay on the warm blanket and wonder

Will my owner know to find me here?

It is the next day and I sit and wait

The hours pass and still I am here

My puppies will be here soon

I am moved to another clean cage with more food and water

People come to look at other dogs

No one comes to look at me

Each time the door opens I think maybe.

Why was I left tied to the tree?

Was I a bad dog?

The lady that takes care of me sits in my cage

She gives me biscuits and pets me

She takes me out for a walk

I like it here. I feel save.

She gives me the food a couple times a ady

Just to get my weight back up

I still wonder why I was left tied to the tree

I feel so alone

I am about to give birth soonDuring the night I had my puppies

Eight little ones crawling around

All not really know what will take them

I stay right there and keep my newborns warm

My owner will be surprised to see the new arrivals

Why haven't they come yet?

Maybe hey do not know where to look

I hope they will find me soon.

A couple of more days passed

The nice lady comes and cleans my cage

She puts down clean blankets for my pups and I

There is talk about putting us in a foster home

Just until my pups are old enough

She takes a picture of my pups and I

What a family portrait

I am a good mother tomy pups.

A couple more days have passed

It is morning and the workers are here

I get moved into a clean cage

I wait for my pups

I hear the ladies with them in the next cagw

But I cannot see them

I hear them whisper

Time has passed and I do not hear them anymore

That was the last time I have seen my babies again

I sit in my cage so lonely

Why didn't my owners get me spayed so I wouldn't

endure so much pain?

I was finally adopted to a nice family

They take me to a lot of places

They got me spayed

I am no longer alone

I have all the love any dog could ask for.
