Inspiration of The Heart

Those who know me know I have been going thru a really rough time, I was feeling very broken. Betrayed by those around me who called themselves Christians and yet were practicing anger, hate, judgement and spitfullness. This was causing me to feel drawn back to going on the attack, filled again with rages and anger, feeling the occult was the more powerful way to fight against those I felt attacked by, I was feeling the loss of the peace, love and joy of God I had when I was first saved. That darkness was the winner not God. I couldnt pray for myself, was feeling carried on a downward motion over a ever closer cliff. With a eventual result of falling away from God only a matter of time. God felt just too far away from me for me to even seek his help, comfort or protection. But unlike my past behaviors of rushing into things with a slash and burn policy, I held on and waited to see if this would pass, to ask for prayers from a few I trusted. Unable to admit to all how bad I felt, unable to pray even for myself. The following are a few of the things that were sent to me that spoke to my heart in ways that touched and ministered to me so strongly I now feel refreshed, strong agian, at peace inside, loved and close to the Lord. Normally I wouldnt post all these things together and some I am sure you have seen before but together I feel them a stronger message so please read all of the following and I hope it will refresh and minister to you as it did to me. I thank all of you who cared, prayed for me and reached out even your personal message isnt here, they did help and I did appreciate each and everyone! May God Bless you all beyond measure!!! If there is anything the devil does NOT want, it is another sincere child of God marching about doing him damage. Your thoughts are not truth indicators. Be determined to be a thermostat instead of a thermometer. A themostat sets the temperature while a thermometer only reflects the temperature. Get out there and change your climate. Feelings lie!!!! God's Word doesn't

. It sounds to me like this is the devil's old trick of trying to convince you that nothing is new, you're no different then before so why try. Don't fall for it. Remember, you are now a BELIEVER! Don't try to FEEL God's truth about who you are in Him and all He has done for you, just BELIEVE IT!

Wolves In Sheep's Clothing

This poem is dedicated to everyone who has ever been hurt, confused, led astray, or turned off to God and Christianity because of the hypocrisy of someone who called himself or herself a Christian.

Wolves in sheep's clothing; They come in Your name
Pastors, teachers and leaders using the Gospel for selfish gain

They preach using Your words; Telling us right from wrong
And fearlessly praise You singing their sacred song

With beautiful prayers they tell all the Words' worth
Teaching all about the Lord Jesus and the new birth

They say that they love You with their heart, soul, and mind
Yet they will use, cheat, lie, and oppress, hurt and bind

It doesn't make sense; They leave one to wonder
How they could say one thing and do quite another

Deceitful and cunning; They lead many astray
Turning hearts from you Lord, confused and left in array

We don't understand it when we can't separate them from You
Help us focus on Your goodness and not what they do

Oh, Lord, hear our cries of frustration; don't leave us alone
Let Your light open our eyes and lead us back home

Oh, hear our prayers to know You, to grow closer than ever before
Mend our broken hearts to trust you so much more

Help us pray for the wounded, the disenchanted and naive
For the wolves in sheep's clothing and all those they deceive

Thank you Lord Jesus, the Shepherd of our soul
Wherever you lead us is where we will go

Keep us from falling, from going astray
Guide us by Your light; Teach us Your ways

Help us to walk with You, to learn as we are growing
And protect us from evil and from wolves in sheep's clothing

Chapter 6,Verses 10-20

This chapter tells us of THE ARMOR OF GOD.

Verse 10- "Finally,my brethren,be strong in the Lord,and in the power of His might.

Verse 11-Put in the Whole Armour Of God,that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Verse 12- For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickednss in high places.

Verse 13-Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day,and having done all,to stand."

Try to envision yourself building this armor about you as you read. Try to feel its strength and protection.

Verse 14-"Stand therefore,having your loins girt(belted) about with TRUTH and having on the BREASTPLATE of RIGHTEOUSNESS;

Verse 15-And your feet shod with the PREPARATION of the GOSPEL OF PEACE;(Wearing what makes you ready to proclaim the Gospel of Peace)

Verse 16-Above all,taking the SHIELD of FAITH, where-with ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

Verse 17-And take the HELMET of SALVATION,and the SWORD of the SPIRIT,which is the word of God:

Verse 18-PRAYING always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit,and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

Verse 19-And for me,that utterance may be given unto me,that I may open my mouth boldly,to make known the mystery of the gospel,

Verse 20-For which I am (have freely chosen to be) an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly,as I ought to speak."

"Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power (FAITH) that worketh in us."

Ephesians 3:12

"In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the FAITH of Him."

I Can Not Pray if...
I Cannot Pray I cannot pray "OUR", if my faith has no room for Others and their need. I cannot pray
"FATHER", if I do not demonstrate this relationship to God in my daily living. I cannot pray "WHO ART IN HEAVEN", if all of my interests and pursuits are in earthly things.
I cannot pray "HALLOWED BE THY NAME", if I am not striving for God's help to be holy.
I cannot pray "THY KINGDOM COME", if I am unwilling to accept God's rule in my life. I cannot pray "THY WILL BE DONE", if I am unwilling or resentful of having it in my life.
I cannot pray "IN EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN", unless I am truly ready to give myself to God's service here and now.
I cannot pray "GIVE US THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD", without expending honest effort for it or if I would withhold from my neighbor the bread I receive.
I cannot pray "FORGIVE US OUR TRESPASSES AS WE FORGIVE THOSE WHO TRESPASS AGAINST US", if I continue to harbor a grudge against anyone. I cannot pray "LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATION", if I deliberately choose to remain in a situation where I am likely to be tempted.
I cannot pray "DELIVER US FROM EVIL", if I am not prepared to fight with my life and my prayer. I cannot pray "THINE IS THE KINGDOM", if I am unwilling to obey the King.
I cannot pray "THINE IS THE POWER AND THE GLORY", if I am seeking power for myself and my own glory first.
I cannot pray "FOREVER AND EVER", if I am too anxious about each day's affairs.
I cannot pray "AMEN", unless I honestly say "Not MY will, but THY will be done", so let it be.

God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and a sound mind. The Lord will deliver me from every evil work and preserve me for His Heavenly kingdom. Blessed is he who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly. Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the house of the scornful.But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in his law he mediates day and night.Lord, how they increase who trouble me! Many are they who rise up against me. Many are they who say of me, "There is no help for him in God". But you, O Lord you are a shield for me. My glory and the one who lifts up my head.

Dont forget God is always there. He never leaves us. It is us who walk away, you may not feel you have but God is constant and true, we are weak. When you feel far from God, turn back and reach out. He will come to you. He will go the distance. He will bridge the gulf. He will light the way. When you dont think you can hear him or feel him, just turn around, reach out, call to him! He wont force you back but if you must make that first move and allow him to come to you, he will. Other people and circumstances do not keep you from the Lord. Those are lies of the devil to keep you from God. Rebuke the devil, be aware of your circumstances, dont bemoan them and turn them into insurmountable mountians, just call out to the Lord. Jesus is the light of the world. Darkness can not abide the light. Evil can not abide good. Turn to your blessings not into the enemy's hands with doubts, fear or the loss of joy. God is the great healer, the restorer, our only hope. The devil is a liar, a destroyer, he will rob you of all good in your life if you allow him to decieve you. Call unto the Lord for all things. Give thanks unto the Lord for all things.

The Lord will be a refuge for the oppressed, A refuge in times of trouble. And those who know his name will put their trust in him; For you, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you.
