Inspiration of The Heart

this may be an unusual prayer request but prayer is needed. I do daycare for two young children, a brother and a sister. the sister came one day having head lice! yuk!!!! so I cleaned the house throughly and took all the required steps to elimate the problem at my end. She kept coming back again and again with this problem. Talked to mom about the situation...... I eventually took matters into my own hands and treated her myself.

Well today they came. Her head is doing alright but I found you know what on his head and treated him.

I am feeling very exhausted and drained by all of this. I have to continually treat my house in order to keep my familly safe, so to speak. Not to mention the work involved there is a cost for all the hair treatments,etc. and mom seems not to care about it a whole lot.

Please pray for this situation!!!!!! Thank you

I am with you on prayer on this Shar. It is quite right to bring this to the Lord's attention. It is rife over here (in Scotland) in schools and I know as a friend has gone through this with her daughter catching it from the same person all the time and the Mom does nothing about it. It is rather agony for my friend's daughter as she has very long hair, and to be doused every night and the steel comb is murder and it is very debilitating and frustrating for my friend also. Years ago when I was young we had at school what was called the Nit Nurse, lol, but it was great then comparing as she checked every child's hair and meant sure it was dealt with. Now, supposed cos of cutbacks and human rights, would you believe, they don't employ these any more, why it is so rife and causing misery. All the teacher's can do now when it outbreaks and they see a child with lice, each child gets a letter home saying there is an outbreak. But now the barmy civil rights has even done away with this as they say it impinges on the child's rights and he/she could be humiliated (even though no child was named as the carrier). it is madness.

I pray for this situation and for my friend all who go through this misery. It could be called neglect on the part of the parent who does nothing about it in my opinion. They must see their child clawing at their head and surely they comb their hair in the morning?
