My asst mgr told me not to worry about getting my dry dog and cat mods done, because some vendors were supposed to call and make appts, to help me do them. I didn't worry about getting them done, until the shelves got so empty, that I HAD to set them, before I went crazy. In the meantime, I simply didn't look at the other 2 mods that dropped at the same time. I told my asst mgr about this, and he agreed that I should confirm them, as long as I then set them. Last week, they wanted me to work freight, instead of setting the mods, so I was indignant Tuesday when they wanted me to work freight again. They let me finish one mod, before I switched over to working freight. When I went to look at the mod listing in the SMART system, I scrolled down a little farther, and realized that I had FOUR more mods that had also dropped at the same time. I am usually very on top of mods, and I felt like a stupid slacker, when I realized what I had done.
After getting over feeling stupid and guilty, I decided to confirm those mods too, and quietly get them done ASAP. I doubt that my asst mgr will notice. If he does, I will have to invoke my favorite saying "Sometimes it's easier to ask for forgiveness, than permission."
Luckily, the additional 4 mods are very easy!
