Has anyone else noticed how much more wasteful our stackbase displays have become?  There's lot of pretty printing on lots of cardboard, but the displays hold A LOT less product than a traditional stackbase does.  I recently knocked down a display from canned cat food and dry cat food.  The dry side was not bad, but the canned side used lots of cardbaord, so that it looked there was more product than there really was.  I'd say the ratio of product to space was about 1:10.  It looked good, and it sold well.  Because the cans sold out so fast, I lost the stackbase space and had to rig a place to put the dry food.
As it is, I have about 8 more features that I have no place for, because I have way more features than I have places to put them.  Out of 7 endcaps, 5 of them have HO bought features on them.  My bins are full of features with no homes.  I have no stackbases or 4 ways.
Anyway, I'm ashamed of how much more cardboard we're using.  It looks great, but it's so wasteful.
