Hi Arc. :)  Our parking lot was a mess when I left at 7pm today (Saturday).  I went out the grocery side and there were no carts at all.  We were really busy today.  One day there were 3 guys out there but the lot still had a lot of carts around.  Sometimes they send a guy out to the bus stop to bring back carts too.  They don't do it everyday and sometimes when I come in there are 8 or 9 carts at the bus stop.  There are 2 guys that work really hard and 3 guys always seem to be together doing carts.  It seems like some would work GM and some grocery but I guess not.  We have a hard time keeping people how about you?

Arc, our parking lot is always in pretty good shape; we are a Model store so it has to be.  All three shifts work at it pretty hard, but it is all of the associates doing it, as our stockmen are always quitting or transferring a couple weeks after hired, if they last that long.  We have one who has been doing the job for four years, he loves it and has no intention of leaving the job.

Stockman is one of the most important jobs in the store and might I add one of the hardest.  If top management at Home Office had ever actually worked at a Walmart, they would know that.  I think they should raise the paygrade level on this job to at the very least, a four.

We have two cart pushers who have been in their positions for over a year, and they do a good job.  The others kind of float in and out, hanging out together, talking on their cell phones, not really talking to any other associates.
I think they should get rid of the pay level one, it's an insult to the people who are at that pay grade.
