He seemed to be a good worker, seemed to want to do a good job and be helpful to others.  Yesterday, as my asst mgr went to lunch, he saw my assoc get into a car with another assoc. My assoc was on the clock.  20 minutes later, my asst mgr called the store, and my assoc wasn't there.  When he did show up again, he got fired.
Next time maybe someone who really needs a job, and wants to work, will apply.

So am I.... started out great, but fizzled out..... This person started... worked two days got sick and was out for about 3 weeks.. came back... did a no call no show.
Recently another no call no show because she said she was involved in a car accident.  Management wrote her up... told her that if it happens again she is out the door.  BTW.. not even here 90 days yet.
Left her a project... she didn't do it... wanders around the store because she is bored... hmmmm
After holidays I think I am going to request a green sheet for her.
She won't make any attempts to come into work early for me to train her on the telezon... What a waste!

Dissapointed in alot of assosiates,

I'm tired of seeing employes on every shift,
not pulling their weight all they do is stand around
and chit chat no real super vision saying do this do that
just chit chat. Why should one employee work harder
than others? because management hasno back bone to break
up these little conversations that take up 10 to 20 minutes
The store manager ought to be wrote up if the market manager
walks the store and sees this

We have a hard time staffing our pets dept at my store too, Mad.  We have a second shift "wanderer" too and he's never around when you need him. The dept mgr and usually one other guy works during the day, evenings are rough.

I was stopped when I was shopping the other day and was yelled at by a customer b/c she wanted fish and noone was around.  of course if she would have walked down two aisles, there were quite a few assoc in hba/cosmetics.  And then we I told him a customer needed fish he was like "huh?"

Id never work during the day,
The day shift leaves everything to
do for the night shift and the store is a complete
mess when we come into work and when we
leave it is spotless correct me if Im wrong
but shouldnt the store work in 8 hour time scales
if it is 24 hours to get the store cleaned and stocked properly?
and the customers served properly?
I here calls for electrionics code Hs and other departments
and the assosiates or managers that are in charge seem to
not care how long they take to get there or if they are being called
at all. Cause they are either chatting or on break and no one checks on this
until the customer gets angry and leaves
