In case you aren't getting the same message that I am, I wanted to let you know that I will have to move the site to a service called Multiply.  MSN is getting out of the groups game.  If there's another service that you think is better, let me know.  Multiply is just the service that MSN is recommending.  It's set up to make it easy for me to switch us over.
Maybe this means our site will be more accessible.
I had MSN online service for awhile, and I will NEVER use them again.  Every time I called them about my service, they said their computers were down.  It took me MONTHS to get that service cancelled.
Thanks for your input!

Hello everyone we're new here. We just sent an email to the group manager(s) in regards to this matter. We would like to help this awesome community find a new home online before february 2009. Our site is called www.ihatemyjob.tv and we would love to help you establish your community with us.

P.S. We know that spam sucks! So if we come across as spamming, please accept our humble apologies.

Thanks for everyone's input.  After reading these posts, and the ones on WWAssociates' I think I will transfer us to Multply, and then shop around for another host.  If I find another one that I think is good, I may skip multiply.  It is hard to let go of our history, but it won't be the first time I've started over.

My suggestion is that you take a look at Yuku.com.  A politics group I belong to here on MSN is starting to set up on Yuku.  E-mail me if you have any questions and I'll try to answer them.

I have an Aimoo account as well.
I just seen where they will move your group too.
Not sure how it goes LOL I guess I could use my storage group a
as a guinea pig and see how it goes.

Thanks for the input, LilA.  I would prefer moving to a site where the old info can be transferred.
From what I've read on WWAssociates, multiply isn't the cat's meow.
And, it would be good to get away from MSN.

Just trying to get caught up.  I feel like I've not been around in FOREVER and will post more soon about that.  (Remodel and stuff doncha know.)  Anyway, just wanted to pipe in and say you may want to look at www.delphiforums.com.  I have a forum there that we created because we got booted from a site that used to have groups (it was actually www.sesamestreet.com.)  I guess we've been there going on 8 years now.  It's pretty simple to use but I don't know about transferring things.  Hmmmm...  Anyway, just tossing another name into the mix.  :)

Just an FYI in case ya didn't know. If you do choose to let Aimoo move the group to their site you will have to change the setting to where there is no restrictions. This includes how folks join. Which could result in spammers joining and being able to hit ya right off the bat instead of the first one being approved by you Mad. Sucks I know. But once they get it moved you can change the settings back.

Thanks, LilA--I thought that's what they meant, when I went to apply with Aimoo; so I fixed it on our site.  So far, nothing bad has happened, so that's good!
I'm assuming nothing has gone wrong with the progress of our transfer.  I haven't heard from them, so I guess no news is good too.

Our site info was supposed to be transferred to Aimoo by yesterday.
It ain't there.
Aimoo does suck.
I'm going to try Yahoo now.  I've been to a site there before, and I think it would be easy enough for me and all the other computer-illiterates.

Yes, Belle, that's just what I will do.  I'm glad I have the time to check other things out, because I never thought it would be this hard to find another message board home.

Wellllllllllllllllllllllll..............
I have to redo the Yahoo site, to see if I can get it to work this time!  MSN might not be great, but it sure was easier to set up a site.  Of course, maybe my lack of computer-savvy-ness has something to do with it.
Maybe.
