An associate asked me if he could tell me something in confidence.  I said "Sure."  He told me that a group of assoc's in the break room have been laughing and talking about another assoc, on a regular basis, because this assoc has been wearing the same pair of pants every day for the past 2 weeks. They have charted this event, by checking to see if a telltale stain on the rear is there; and it has been.  He told me that this is a friend of mine, and he wanted her to know about it.  I told him I would tell her, and not mention his name.

When I told her, she explained that she only has one pair of khaki pants that are comfortable, so she washes them every few days.  Yes, she wears the same pair every day.

So, now she knows and we had a good laugh about it.  I told the assoc who spoke to me about it, so he knows, that she knows.  Too bad the idiots in the break room will continue to waste their time snickering about the woman "who's wearing those same pants again!"

I guess I need to spend more time looking at other people's butts.  I must be missing out on all kinds of intrigue.

And finally; I thank my lucky stars that these folks haven't noticed that I often wear the same pair of pants TWO days in a row.
