I was in and out of my voting place in about 45 minutes. My husband and I voted together. The poll worker sent me in line for a machine and he told my husband to wait. Another poll worker told him he should have let my husband and I go together but that was ok. I voted on the machine and my husband used a paper ballet and we got done with in minutes of each other. And I was not late to work. We were grouped by the letter our last name starts with. Lines were long for people having last names that began with A, B, C, D, S, T and a few others. Other elections had us grouped by the area of our precinct we lived in. One or two areas had really long lines but the area we live in did not have a long line. |
