Ok, I finally got group rates for rooms at the La Quinat Inn, You need to tell them your are with the Danny Ricard Meet group and we need at least 10 rooms rented to get the rate of $43 a day plus tax. The last date for the booking is April 9th. Lake Charles has the closest airport at 14 miles and Contenintal flys there only (LCH). Houston is 2 and a half hours West of us on Interstate 10. On something to do, the beach is 35 miles south, a nature walk and marsh museum is 25 miles south. There is airboat rides 22 miles west of us and gambling boats 6 miles east of us. Oh yea, there is cajun food eating places all around you plus the nation wide chains, so we wont lack food, I will even brew up a few delicacies.
