HOW TO STOP UNWANTED EMAIL FROM COMMUNITIES

GO to the whats new page and then go to the box on the far right hand side that says Member Tools click on where it says My E-mail settings 

Where it says Email: If you DO NOT want other members to see your email addy then unselect the box

Where it says Messages: You will: select ONE of the Three things:

If you select

INBOX= You  will receive individual messages immediately to your  e-mail inbox.

DAILY DIGEST = You will receive compiled messages to your  e-mail inbox at the end of the day

ON THE WEB = You will NOT receive ANY messages, but you can read them in the community.

Best BET= ON THE WEB

COMMUNITY REPORTS

You can choose how to receive these reports bye selecting ONE of the following:

DAILY, WEEKLY OR NEVER

All this is, is  a general report of the latest messages,  pics and  new members list

Not necessary to receive this.

NOTIFICATIONS:

When you post messages if you are waiting for a reply, you can  select to receive an update be sent to your email inbox. If you choose to  stop having them sent, you can select here if you want it stopped

 

EMAIL PREFERENCE

Always select HTML,

Make sure you  SAVE ALL CHANGES, If you don't it wont work
