It may be that we stay in difficulty too long because of the habitual comfort of a familiar place. The ache for the old and familiar are parts of the spirit of hindrance that keeps us trying to overcome things without too much success.
A continual suggestion says that things are never going to be any different - that we can go no further and life can be no different. But it can! It can be different and it will be as soon as we reject feelings of being frozen in space. Such feelings are signs that good change is in the offing and all we have to do is to walk and talk the part - and to show gratitude that the Great Spirit is ever with us.
Men must be born and reborn to belong.
