Rebirth
The ground beneath my feet was warm
as we began our climb
it seemed to whisper out to me
of another place and time

the feeling of happiness
then peace, within my breast
how very much I loved this place
where my spirit was at rest

my heart so full of gratitude
for the wonders of this earth
of this spring, I was so thankful
twas the season of rebirth

the Mountian forever living
as we wandered, here and there
life was glorious for us that day
the Mountians beauty filled the air

we sat beside the rivers edge
we talked of many a thing
we spoke of family and of life
then the wonderment of spring

how everything is given new life
of this, we daydreamed on the bank
consumed with the beauties of rebirth
how our troubles in life then shrank

how life was full of mystries
many glories yet untold
how we would be together
when the mystries would unfold

now here we are, a brand new spring
lifes mysteries still remain
the joy felt on that mountian top
will forever be the same

our spirits walk the mountianside
upon newly sprouted grass
we thank the Spirit up above
spring has come at last
