Have no fear my friends.....I care less about my thinking something makes sense than I do YOU thinking it makes sense since you are following the practice.  I have run across WAY TOO MANY PEOPLE believing in things BLINDLY with never a thought about the whys. So as long as you have thought through these things understand them and feel you are obeying from knowledge as well as faith, I certainly would never complain about it or try to tell you otherwise.
