P.S.  I just noticed in amazon that you can buy the camera from them, but it actually could be coming from either Circuit City, J&R or Tiger Direct.  And each one of them has a different price.  So I just noticed that J&R actually has a lower price for the DX7440 than Circuit City.  J&R's price is about $270 for the camera (but still doesn't qualify for free shipping).  I wonder why amazon is doing it this way?  And it's so confusing -- you don't know whether you're getting the best price or not.  Plus, if I bought both the camera and the digital card from J&R, which is a New York-based store, I would end up with both shipping and handling AND taxes.  The whole point for me to buy things online is to try to get FREE SHIPPING and not to pay taxes.  If wanted to pay taxes, I could walk 3 blocks to Circuit City and buy the camera today.
