Hi Ladies?IMG height=19 src="emlove-1.gif" tppabs="http://sc.groups.msn.com/themes/R9c/pby/img/emoticons/emlove.gif" width=19>

I’m back but doing the at home catch up too. Good to see you’re still about Libabs. Lucky you Ann, Taupo is the only place I haven’t seen up there. I wish you well, with Jasmine. Yes, all I’m also panicking about the new site. I’ll try the face book but keep Ann’s & Yvette’s e-mail addresses on paper in case of emergency. Tiffany did mention that face book is the devil though and probably didn’t bother with it after getting the new laptop.

The BBQ at her flat went well. And the place we stayed in was gorgeous. There were two weddings on there this weekend so when I went to go for a swim they were taking photo’s in the garden so I missed out on that. I realised next morning that the place the neighbours?daughter is getting married at this weekend was right next door so we went for a walk in the morning around there. We checked in with Ken’s almost 50 year old Orange suitcase and I finally thought that’s it, so off to buy him a new trolley bag for Xmas the next morning and I didn’t walk with him when we smuggled the embarrassing thing out. We took Tiff & Chris to Coyote for dinner which was nice. And the two 80th birthday’s dinner on Sunday was Fab too with 120 people at it. And heaps of family pictures on a screen all afternoon. We got back early on Monday morning and neither of us were ready to come home so into Dunedin we went and I’ve finally got my lovely Cobalt blue cake mixer which was $200 off because they’d been using it for demos. Red, I read recently an article that basically said (If we hang all those that wear suits we would fix the financial crisis). I can’t wait to see your haircut Tigger and one day soon I hope will get some pictures of me through I’m sure. When we arrived in Christchurch Tiffany picked us up and the first roundabout she drove straight into the path off a black car that obliged by jamming on the brakes, it was quite close although I didn’t hear any screech, she hadn’t seen she was only just holding back the tears. Saying that doesn’t happen. I hope you’re not off to Malta too soon Tigger. I was pleased to see it on Coro on last week. It looks quite similar to Greece and I think I prefer Greece to Italy if I get a chance. Oh Yeh, and my dear wee mark was mentioned in the local paper last week for being a good Samaritan, helping an old person that couldn’t get up who had fallen on the street, he ran up to him and even rang him up the next day to see if he was ok. Keep up the good work with the site Yvette and isn’t it lovely to have a nice new kitchen we also love the silver appliances.

Hello girls,
A very cold morning here, we are having January weather in October, brrrr. Not for long, I hope.
I was right about the blower on the heater, dam men think I am only a stupid woman, and frankly I have grown very weary of that, when in fact it is the men who are usually the duh factor in a conversatation, lol
They could have apologized for not taking me seriously then FIRST time I had them come to look at it, rather then telling me it was my fault for having a filter that was too think. I knew then that they were crazy, but what can a girl do? Sure feels good to gloat, lmao, and gloat I WILL! They had the wiring wrong, as I believe I had mentioned to the owner when I frist told him I was having the repair people back, and them when I left the first message to them. Where do I apply? lol did I mention I was gloating?

Nice to see you Farmeress, and that you had a nice time. The BBQ sounds wonderful, as I love going o those, especially if I do not have to do anything for them. Close call with the cars , but good someone was on their toes. Defensive driving is how I always approach traffic.
LOL @ the suit comment, so true!! Bless Mark for his helpful nature. I remember once in Ohio I was on my way to work (winter time) I saw an elderly woman fall out of the corner of my eye, so I went around the block and she was still laying on the cold sidewalk. I helped her up and her knee looked prety scraped up. She lived in the apartment building half way up the street, so I walked her to her apartment and had her call her daughter to come check up on her weather they went for a doctor visit, I am not sure, but I could not believe that during the time it took me to circle the block, that noone else had stopped, and she was left on the cold concrete. Shameful, how do people live without a concious?

THank God the elections will be closing soon. I still have to go vote, but am reading up on other candidates first, as I have only heard about the presidential race so much, and not well informed about the other candidates for offices. Finding out little tidbits can be very interesting. One woman running for attorney general has been evading taxes for quite a while, and seems she has tried to blame it all on her co-partner in life. How embarrassing it can be to have your life picked through by so many people if your hiding such things. Why would you run for office and subject yourself to such scrutiny? I am fully aware of some things in my past that I would not like publicised.

My niece has bought a hot tub and theyare making a lovely garden with a fountain in a fenced area beside their house. It will be nice when we can get out and plant next spring. I am happy for them to be getting along so well with all their pain of loosing Mike.

I got Patti's snowman yesterday and I must return it. The train does not move around the base like it is supposed to, I can only pray I can get a working replacment before Christmas. I have the lovely angel throw for her, but this was her big gift, as it cost me more then I would have normally spent on her gift, but it suited her so with her love of Christmas and snowmen. I was suprised at the heaviness of the snowman.

I hope Mark is having a wonderful day! Keep an eye on the doctor Tigs a man who notices such things is suspicious in my world, lol.
Yes, I think despite our choice of men, we have done a GREAT job with our sons. Although I do worry about TIm form time to time, he has such an odd outlook on life sometimes, it makes me wonder.

Well I think I will daw me a warm and bubbly tubby to thaw out before I run off to the store. Today is Wednesday, which means we have 4 centers tonight and tomorrow Ken is taking the day off so Tm can have his Sunday for his birthday. They are switching days off. Joe has bought a costume to pass out candy in THursday night. I have already bought that!

Have a nice day, and keep warm. Lucky you with summer coming on Farmeress
