Morning LadiesI bet you just can't  wait to get home after a hard days night and play ball with the animals Red Still I bet you liked your "tubbie" afterwards.  Sounds like a good idea the lady you go to with the animals, she will know them all pretty well now and have a nice relationship with you too, when you come with your "worried" look over one of your pets.

I went to see the kidney specialist today, well I hopped, and met up with an old friend I haven't seen for ages so was able to have a nice natter and catch up.  I have to go for an x-ray on Thursday, it has been arranged for 1pm, then at 1.30pm I have my knee x-rayed and at 2pm I see the specialist over my knee.  Whats happening to me I am falling apart I have to have the kidney x-ray as I might have got a kidney stone.  It's all my fault if I have as I have been eating a large amount of fruit!

Yes Red I do get all my little pictures from Yvettes gifts and things, I would not know how to go about getting any from anywhere else

Hi Tigs have missed you yesterday, hopped onto the computer this morning and NO TIGGS, Hope all is well, and your cold is not any worse, take care of yourself

Yvette we haven't heard from you for a while, how are you all, and the family?  Have you done all your Christmas shopping yet?

It is just pouring down with rain here at the moment and with the low cloud I would not be surprised if the airport is closed.  STill I should worry I am not going anywhere (but I can dream I am can't I)

Enjoy your day ladiesand happy Christmas shopping

Forgot to say, I wonder why you ladies don't do the Key board natter quizz as well as the Ladies take a break one?  I ask this as I find it is a lot easier and I can do a bit better at it

Morning ladies...
Well I'm pleased that you missed me ladies but it wasn't for want of trying. I did scribe a lovely lengthy post well I thought it was lovely and then I ctrl and C and tried to post, several times, but msn was having none of it! Grr... then my laptop decided it would freeze so I had to restart and hence all my work was lost.

So please forgive me if I don't comment again on things you ladies have put but I am running low on time here as I am in the middle of sorting my craft room and very soon I need to shower as I am meeting a young friend this afternoon and taking her families christmas presents round.

Thanks for mentioning the chicken Red as I need to take some out of the freezer before I do anything else. I dont normally do frozen meat but I bought it fresh a few weeks back and realised I wasn't going to have time to cook it before it was past it's best. Shall make a lovely roast and wrap bacon round the chicken as the boys love that....but Wac doesn't like chicken so have to think of something else he can have.

Re the KN quiz Ann it takes me all my time to remember to do the trivia in here and it's such a pfaff having to sign in and out as I always seem to forget which password is which.

Gotta run.....hope to be back later.

ps. Good luck at the hospital Ann.
Didn't know too much fruit could give you kidney stones. Can't win eh if we don't eat enough fruit were damned and the same if we do!!

My cold is almost gone but I got catarrh now.

Hello ladies,

Glad your feeling better Tigs!   Oh Ann, not stones, I never knew fruit caused them either. Bob had stones and he does not eat muh fruit?  Knock on wood I have not experienced that pain.

Key board natter quiz, ?  I will have to look for that I can't believe there is something I have missed here after all these years, lol

Our weather is supposed to be in the 70's today and sunny.  Not very Christmassy, but I love it just the same.

Did you all see the footage of our pres Bush having an Iraqi reporters shoes throw at him,  PMSL,  tooo funny,  it's a darn shame the man is in so much trouble for it.  Historic moment, lol  He darn near hit him too!  I'm not  normally a violent person,  but I found this to be sooo amusing.

I have to run out and do a couple errands.  I have to get more baking done, and I still have to find my brother's present, it's looking more and more like  a quitters way out,  (gift card) lol  He likes tools, but I have no idea of his collection, or what he is lacking. I am going to Lowes and if I can't find some new gadget he might not have, he will get a gift card!  Decision made!

I hope you all have a great day, and good luck at the docs Ann!!

Let me go find this natter thing

Evening ladies
Just a quickie before I disappear to make tea. Roast chicken in bacon I think and Wac can have sausages!

I've had a nice afternoon visiting my young friend who is now 26 and I met her when she was a mere 14 with a very young baby. That baby is now almost 12 and has a sister of 9 and a brother of 3 and the family are doing very well. I am so proud of how well she has done as the first 21 years of her life were absolute cr*p! Whilst I was there she had a friend round who is expecting her fist baby and is only 19 and she has been teaching her how to cook like I first taught her many years ago when she lived in the supported accommodation I worked at. We've kept in touch over the years, not as much as perhaps we should/could but it's always nice when we meet up at xmas and birthdays.

Red I've seen a ratchet tool/monkey wrench type thing advertised on tv, and at the press of a button it clamps itself against a pipep without the user having to twist the nut to make the jaws move closer together and the same to release it. I've been thinking what a great idea but not got anyone to buy one for. If you don't buy anything in the end then don;t see the gift card as an easy way out cos I always think if in doubt it's better to buy a gift card for a store you know they frequent or better still give them the actual cash.

Wish it was 70c here...it's barely 2c and absolutely freezing! One of our radiators is leaking so think I might have to ring Dad tomorrow and get him to look at it for us. The boys noticed it and switched the radiator off and put a bowl underneath. I'm still shocked at how sensibly they acted about something they know nothing about.

Off to make the tea now.
