Morning Ladies So glad for you that everything went off well on Christmas DAy Tigs.

Well to-day quite a lazy day for me, but Bill took  down the tree and did lots of other things that needed to be done, then down to Tracy's at tea time for a meal and finishing off Christmas days left overs and the barbeque was on for the added things like sausages and corn on the cobb  I eat much too much again and even had some extra new potatoes when they were cold straight out of the fridge before coming home

Tigs, do you think your dad will remember when his knee stopped hurting, it is now six weeks for me and my knee is still very painful.  Still the physio said anything from three to six months which was not what I wanted to hear

Red I hope your Christmas with Patty and friends went well and you and the family had a good time

To-night I was going to do some packing for to-morrow and an early start, but, it looks like I will be doing the packing now to-morrow moring and it will be a late start!!  Still I just can't hurry things.

I notice on our T.V. now we are into lots of old repeats, don't the t.v. magnets think we look at t.v. during the holiday breaks.  Admittedly not much, but if you are confined to the setee, you do like to look at something worth while We played Trivial pursuit tonight, the boys won only by one question but that was not how it was supposed to go!!

Well better go off and get ready for bed, I am so tired and yet I know I will only sleep for a little while then get woken up, and so it goes on-Oh help I really feel sorry for myself don't I

Wishing you a very relaxing Boxing day, Take care of yourselves

Good day after Christmas ladies,

WE had a wonderful time at Patti's and lots of great food. I too am stuffed Ann.  OOH I haven't had new potaotes for a while. I love those.  Thanks for making my mouth water first thing in the morning, lol.  I also love yukon golds. I like to use red potaotes for potato salad, as they are so pretty.

 ANyways,  where was I, lol.

Ann I wish you the greatest of times away, (wish I could stow away in the trunk of your car)  SOunds like such a wonderful time at the lake.  I hope youer knee settles downa  bit.  I hate it that you have so much pain, but not as much as you do I am sure.

Gee we spend so many weeks preparing for that one day, and now that it is over, I kinda feel lost, lol

I need to run out to the store in a bit for some weekly groceries.  Yoshi is yelling at me about our oatmeal, but I am out of milk.  She loves my apple cinnamon oatmeal.

It's a lovely day outside , but I can't stop yawning.  I have had plenty of  rest so I dont know what my body is having a problem with. Maybe i need to run around the block a time or 2....nahh  can't be that, lol

Glad you had some nice gifts Tigs. Sometimes our fellas do pay attention, (sometimes).  I have  anew lovely plant stand, a beautifully framed pic of Mike, a  necklace, olive oil bottle with matching spice rack, and a few other items.  I thought I would get the mama mia cd as well,  but guess I will get it myself.

I had thought I had bought my nieces a dvd collection of original Wizard of Oz, Alice in Wonderland, and Peter Pan,  but come to find out it was a book collection.  grrrr,   I was upset about that.  Why was it in the DVD section???

I need to run along and shut this bird up.arrrr font....

I hope you all have alovely day,
ANN....be safe and hurry back,  but enjoy your time!  I will miss you terribly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Evening ladies....
I don't think my Dad would remember when he was almost pain free Ann, but I seem to think it was a month or two. He had his first op beginning of December and whilst we were at the holiday cottage at the end of January he was finding it difficult to walk or stand for long and he always wanted to keep him and his knee warm to minimise the pain.
I think Dad used a heat pad to soothe his leg/knee whilst sitting down and in bed.
I would think your new knee still has a lot of settling in to do as well as the surrounding tissues needing to accept it and heal from the very brutal treatment it has all had during the operation.

I hope you will manage to get online Ann whilst you are away and you can share your holiday adventures with us. Have a lovely time and I sure am gonna miss your daily postings.

Red lovely to hear your xmas day went well also. I agree it is such a fuss and takes so long to arrive and then it is over in a flash.
Never mind only another 363 days before it happens all over again!!

Know what you mean about being tired for apparently no reason Red, I haven't really been busy today or worked hard but I am sat here yawing.

I have been shopping today, Boundary Mill are having a sale and I had a guest card that got me an extra 10% off everything, so I bought a new pair of Klass black trousers for work and a couple of plastic drawer chests for my craft stuff. Wac has been working today as he wanted to see how busy it could be. He says he took enough money to make it worth the effort. Well he was happy and so was I cos I escaped for a little retail therapy for a wee while. I took my Mum who bought a few bits for herself but spent more time sat down than looking round.

Now it's a relaxing evening in as it is quite a chilly night out there. Brr.
