Morning Ladies No, we are not home yet Red, we go home on Monday.  We went to Rotorua for the day yesterday and had a lovely lunch outside under the trees.  We also went round the town and I bought a very pretty skirt, it was much too small for me but as it was floor length when you took the top off and maid it jut under the knee it was good so the lady altered it whilst we were away having lunch.  She did a brilliant job of it so I was thrilled with that.  Of course that does not mean that I do not have to diet when I get home  Somone told me that taking those Tramedo tablets like I do for the pain in my knee don't help, but add weight as a side effect?  have to ask Tigs about that, but even if they do I still have to take them I guess for the time being.

I would love to join you on face book Sweet, please could you send me a request to be your friend my 'e' mail is
[email protected]  I won't be able to do it on Bill's lap top as all that I have of mine on it is "ladies take a break" and my 'E' mails.  I don't have any other of my favorites on it at all.  I have to wait until I get home before I can post on face book again

Your Chili sounds very nice Sweet too, That is so kind of you to cook for the family who are on a 24hr vigil at the hospital.  How awful for the family, such a stressful time for everyone and so sad.

I think that was very nice to go out to lunch with two young me Red and I can understand your friends hearing of the accident wanting to make sure you are safe. If I had heard of the accident and I thought you might have been in that vicinity I would have phoned from New Zealand. Can't have anything happen to Our Red

It is eleven thirty in the morning here, and we are going off to the "village" to have lunch "A ham salade sandwich please Annette" is Jasmine's request, not sure what I want at the moment  We have got through two "ham on the bones" since just after Christmas so I think I am all "hammed" out.   After that we will do some shopping and then go to the hot pooles to exercise this "flaming" knee it is so stiff and still painful, and Oh here I go on again about my knee

It is a really hot day here again to-day, I know I should not say it but it really is too hot as I am running water down the back of my neck (oh too much information) and I know I will be wishing the good weather back when I am shivering in the winter but there is no wind and it is sweltering

Bill has just hung out a line of washing, and before we could go to Rotorua yesterday he was having to iron my skirt and top.  What a change,  it sounds good, but why do I feel so guilty?  He does not mind at all being the "nurse in charge" maybe I should just relax and get used to the idea

Jasmine has done brilliantly with a big 1,000 piece puzzle.  It is one Bill and her did last year of lots of different car's, and this year she  she got the box out again and has worked solidly on it, it is on a big peice of cardboard and she moves it on and off the table and sometimes just sits with it on her lap on the setee.  I cannot believe how much she has done.  I am absolutely hopeless at puzzles, always have been.

Well everyone is ready for the off-so better not keep them waiting.  Hello to Yvette and Tigs, and to everyone have a good day ladies

Hi All'
Oh I miss the group. It's seems easier & better to write in to everyone with your news & experiences. I've been feeling guilty about sitting here at the computer during these lovely summer days. Yes, it has been extremely hot this summer, or is it the age we are at? I had a female incident last month that required a doctors check up but all is well this month. Long may that last. I thought of what happened to you last year Margaret- Tigger. I'd rather call you that on facebook.
I popped into ladiestakeabreak of sue's facebook but couldn't send a message back.
Yes I am a bit busy with the farm work at the momnet as well of course. I've had no time to catch up on all your news but am pleased to see that sweet has made an appearance.
We are dragging ourselves away from the farm for a couple of nights next weekend to help Tiff shift and we're taking up our old tv that is now not needed after winning that large one six months ago. We intended to give it to Dane but he now has a furninshed flat with an 42' flat screen tv int it.
I might need some help from you Yvette getting back into the group through facebook. I'll have a go at that again soon I hope.

Well, here I am again ... just getting ready to leave in a couple of hours to housesit for the next couple of days.  Have to drop off a box filled with containers of chili and basmati rice for my friends family.  And then I am on the highway with Minnie.

Heard on the news this morning that there is black ice ... so I need to be extra careful.

Nice to see you pop in Farmeress, even though you are busy with farm work.

I used to love doing puzzles but dont have the patience now or the time.  Besides Id rather waste my time on the computer.  lol

Guess Tigs will be coming back soon?

Red, I confirmed your facebook invite ... just didnt know who Sue was.  Funny how we get used to our cyber names!!!

Better get packing. See you all later.

Hello gals,

Sweet be very careful (as I know you will). I do not miss the black ice at all, very trecherous, and you really need to keep your eye on the idiot trying to pass you... .
  Terrible about your friend

Sharyn,  nice to hear from you, I did get your reply from facebook.  Odd how we can be cold/sweating at the same time in this world.  I almost feel like I need to bundle up like Sweet is.

I thought you were back home Ann, lol.  I apologize. I am an air head and can't remember day 1 fom day 2 so please bare with me.
Jasmine and I would get along wonderfully,  I also have a 1000 piece uzzle sprawled on my kitchen table. It is a mosiac puzzle of Tigger laying across a bed of flowers.  Each piece in itself is a different scene( hence the mosiac part)  It is terribly hard, but will be so nice when I get it done. I have actually gotten 4 days into it and not even half way there, but I only get a few hours an evening I can sit at  it.  WE just finished up witha  case that had 10 animal pzzles in it, 4-500 pcs, 4 were 750 pcs, and 2 were 1000 pcs. WE lost one of the 1000 pc puzzles pieces, but the rest went together nicely.  The guys help for a few minutes, they thinnk they find a piece they are done, lol.

How nice of the woman to fix you up with a nice skirt.  I am very knowledgable about medications at all, so I could not tell you about them putting weight on you.  I think I am going to end up buying myself a new treadmill. Hopefully the whole family will get into it.  After looking for a while,  I just am not happy with payuing almost full price for a used one.  These people are wanting 300-400 for a used one, (and I don't know anything about the mechanics of one.  I just don't want to put that kind of moey into a used one when I could add a couple hundred to it and get a top quality one NEW.  (Then sell mine after 6 months) LOL

The desk I sit at to computer is a small writing desk, so there is no keyboard tray.  well...I came out here the other night and saw Tim using the drawer for a keyboard tray, so now I am doing it....very cool idea that boy had!!   Much easier to type and more room to mouse, lol

This bird is being obnoxious this morning, she must need her oatmeal, and attention so I gotta go before she has the house up...
   Later girls...
