Afternoon Ladies
A very quick one as I eat my lunch and pray that the snow stops so I can safely drive to work and back.
Why is it when I was off last week that I wished for snow as I think it is magical when  someone else has to do the driving but all we got was rain, and now this week here the snow is! Hmph! I can just picture Sweet now thinking I should complain when there is really some decent snow to complain about. But the way it's been coming down for the last hour I think we are gonna be guaranteed quite a bit even though the forecast says 'sprinkles'!!
I've warned Mark he may be on gritting duties to make our drive safe.

Good on you Red not hanging about after checking that the men were doing a decent job at their place of work. What a good son you have as well making that lovely meal for you. Practice makes perfect eh? As we all learnt a long long time ago.

Right best dash......

  Hello Tigs,
Be safe,  I can't believe it but the weather man told us this morning that we have a chance at a few inches tomorrow morning/afternoon.
I hope not,  but if we do I know it won't last long. The kids will certainly enjoy it, not sure how the dogs would react.  Or the cats for that matter, lol.  the sun is out beautifully right now.

Tomorrow is the big day...President Obama.  The whole country is so excited, I hope he can do what he says he will do.  I am really looking forward to a new school system, interesting as to what is in store there.  I also want to know what he will do about jobs...and health benefits, etc.  What a mess he has inheirited (sp)

Poor Bob ,  his  finger tips are getting so sore from testing his sugar levels.  He was funny last night because he got so excited he could have a few snack crackers.  I tried to get him to eat something else, as those are carbs,  but no.

I went out and got Gabby's bedding to dry it again. Went ahead and washed it as well, so I hope she doesn't mind.  LOL at doing dog laundry,  I'm hopeless..

Tim and I working tonight. I am glad the snow isn't on my watch, I would not want to drive in it with all these people who never have.
I have put a nice beef roast in the slow cooker,  should smell really good in here in a  few hours.

Ann finally made it to muliply, Tigs have you signed in there?  I don't think I have seen you there.

Nothing to rumble on about. I'll pop back in later and see everyone elses news..

I am very sad today.  My friend died last night.  But am so glad that I went to see her couple of days ago, before I left to go to the countryside.  I knew she would not last the week, but it is still a shock knowing that I will never see or talk to her again.

Evening ladies

Sweet I am so sorry to hear about your friend and I can only begin to imagine how sad you must be feeling. It was good that you did get to see her when you did.  I'm sure she is at peace now and free of her suffering but how sad that she has died so young. (I'm presuming she is a similar age to you Sweet)

Oh the snow is awful. I have had to drive in 3rd gear all the way home and then negotiate the two hills and steep drive once off the main road. Wac rang to say he'd gritted the drive but if only he'd bothered to stand and work out just exactly where my wheels would need to go then I could have got up much easier. The forecast is for more snow over the next few days and tomorrow night is the clinic which is furthest from home.

I made my boys a chicken and bacon casserole which Mark forgot to tell Robert about and he hasn't eaten his either!! Why do I bother.

Re multiply I did sign in ages ago Red but cant remember my details now so I am going to just stick with facebook.

I too hope your new president can do everything he says and what the people would like him too but it always seems to me that a new government spend most of their term undoing what the last lot did before they can start making their own mark and then their time is almost up.

Not been a busy day but I'm still brain dead so not going to rack my brains too much to add anymore here cos it hurts!

Night all sleep well.
Big hugs for you Sweet.
