Going on what I'm reading here - I used to have a printer, and the colour cartridge didn't have black ink in it, you need to buy a seperate black ink cartridge for this.. I know that's what you're all already saying, but reading the first message it says "I installed a new colour cartridge yesterday, but black is not coming through", you are aware black isn't in a colour cartridge Mary?

...well... at least black was never in a colour cartridge on my printer, I had to buy a colour one, and a black one
