I was really, really disappointed in Ron Paul's showing in the ABC Debates last night. As the candidate whose views are more closely in line with my own than any other, I wished he'd been a bit more forceful, less rambling, in his reasonings.  While I agree that the war needed to stop five seconds after it started and that it is bleeding our national coffers, so is letting millions of illegal immigrants stay in this country collecting social assistance.

I don't think he has a chance against the sheisters, to be honest. And I don't think he has the energy to compete.  It's sad, really.

I don't want Romney, that is for certain, although I once thought I might vote for him. Now, I'd probably vote for any of the Democrats except Hillary before him.  I hated what Romney said would be his solution to illegal immigration and he disgusted me.
Same with Guiliani, who looked like a jackass with a mouth full of bumblebees sitting up there grinning. Who could ever take that dude seriously? And I blame 9-11 largely on Guiliani and people like him who sat back and waited for the federal government to do something about illegal immigrants instead of actively seeking them out and deporting them.  Children my ass-- those children have parents and the entire family should have been deported, just like everywhere else. in my opinion!

I don't like Huckabee at all. He can't even cover up his own lies effectively. That is the think I like about Ron Paul, he may be off the wall but he doesn't lie every time he opens his mouth so he doesn't have to start searching for excuses.
Fred Thompson?  Nah-- although I love to hear him talk and I love to hear his ideas, I don't think he has the energy or the brains to fight for any of them. Plus when he said "ahhh" between every sentence, it was annoying.

I have never liked and never will like John McCain. Period. I htink his interruptions were boorish and rude when others were speaking and I wouldn't be a bit surprised if Romney gains support rather than loses it because McCain wasn't adult enough to keep his mouth shut.

Were there 6 otr 7?  I was thinking 7 but I can't for the life of me think who the 7th might have been.

I think the Democrats were asked more intelligent questions and therefore they came out better in the long run. Plus there weren't as many of them and there was equal time for them.  I'd really have liked to hear their view of the illegal immigration nightmare.

Hillary sounded like a shrew and her "experience in the white house" doesn't mean diddly squat to me because she was not the president. As a matter of fact, she probably spent a substantial amount of time crying in her bedroom over her philandering husband unless she has no feelings at all-- which wouldn't be good in my eyes, either!

I just don't like or trust Obama and that "charisma" they all talk about just sounds snakey slick to me most of the time. But, if the people elect him I would at least make every effort to support him.

Bill Richardson, whose escapades are paraded across my local news because he's in a state I could walk to from my house without breaking a sweat, is nothing but talk. His state is crawling with illegal aliens because he won't do anything about them. He didn't single handedly back off theNorth Koreans as he wants people to believe and he does not deserve to be president of the united states. Period. His "experience" is negligible in my eyes if not harmful.

At this point, I'm leaning toward John Edwards because I believe he WILL fight for the middle class, I don't believe the Repbulicans have a strong enough candidate to win the election, and, if we are going to get taxed out of house and home, I'd rather a guy young enough to withstand the slings and arrows of what's coming down the pike thanks to Clinton's then Bush's inadequecies.
