Do not violate MSN Code of Conduct (COC)
now that was easy wasn't it.

As was stated on the opening page we intend to manage LtA with a light hand and a consistent enforcement of the COC.
What does that mean.
A light Hand: If a somewhat civil discussion is going on don't expect management to get involved except maybe to add something to the discussion. Our main job here is not to defend you but to make sure the site is not shuttered by MSN for COC violations.
Consistent enforcement of the COC: an example, if your post is deleted because in managements mind you have violated the COC then you can rest assured that if management sees or is informed of another post that violates the same rule than it will be deleted also.

You need to read the COC and understand it. There are things that can get you banned or the site shuttered in the COC, a couple of  them are. One is the copyright rules. It has been stated on just about every site that I have visited that MSN calls the shots on copyright rules it's not what does the law allow but what does MSN allow. You can not copy some one else's work and post it here. Not only in the print media but from one MSN group to another. If you want to reference an article on the web then add a couple sentences from the article to your post with a link. Remember that we are more interested in what you think than some reporters.

It will be implied that when joining Libertarian the Answer that you agree that your post can be copied to another post at Libertarian the Answer.

Offensive material such as porn, graphic or violent pictures will be deleted and could be the cause for a member being banned.

Personnel attacks: The normal flow of conversations can become heated. We are all big boys and girls so be prepared to defend yourself. I would like to discourage the he said she side type of arguments and the your a con no I'm not your a lib type of debates. They will not get you banned but they do not bring much to the table. And if they go on for too long you will be asked to stop.

Threats of physical harm to another member or management will not be tolerated!!!!

How to inform management of a COC violation: make a post in Ask Management, be sure to say (1)what the violation is, (2)what thread it is in, (3)what is the post number and (4)who the violator is.
