NationStates is a free nation simulation game. Build a nation and run it
according to your own warped political ideals. Create a Utopian
paradise for society's less fortunate or a totalitarian corporate police
state. Care for your people or deliberately oppress them. Join the United
Nations or remain a rogue state. It's really up to you.

My nation is Syncronice.  It used to be Syncron, but they have it reserved as a former nation:  I quit playing for too extended a period.  Should have put it in vacation mode.  Not like they didn't warn me.  Anyway....I've started over.

Thought of you:  Might like to test your libertarian views, and see the effects.

You could join as a group and create your own region.  When you're ready to take on the world, you can join the United Nations.

I normally argue in favor of the United Nations, but in this game nothing sends an economy down the tubes like joining the UN.   Mandatory compliance with the approved resolutions is costly.
