Three Candidates
April
30/08
By Luis Zamora

The three candidates hoping to become the next president of this great nation, some are doing what politicians always do, that is promising the world to Americans, lying, knowing full well, that when they are elected, they have no way of keeping those promises.

America has become the land of rich who are above the law and are not held accountable for their action and/or crimes?Just look what this Bush administration has gotten away within the last seven and half years, too much to list here, but just to name a few things,

Trample our constitution, Bush stated that it was only a piece of paper—Built Guantanamo so this administration could have a place where justice does not exist, there by doing the crime of torture-and they would not be held accountable for these crimes.

The tortures in the Iraq Jails, those high in the chain of command were never held accountable for the crimes committed in those jails.

Started an illegal war with Iraq by lying and using 9/11 as an excuse and is still spewing that he was right in going to war with Iraq, and Americans letting him get away it?more than four thousand of our youth slaughtered because of Bush’s lies.

As a result of this administration, blunders, mistakes, and the lying that those in the oval office have spouted across this land has cause the loss of credibility of America and most of countries around the world now hate Americans.
And we haven’t even touch on the harm that America is suffering here at home Gas prices ?BR>Education system shot to hell No child left behind ?they are now out of sight----

Our Borders are not secured and are wide open and this administration is unable to deal with the illegal in this nation.

You will notice that the three Candidates running for office stay away from these subjects so no matter who is elected he or she will have much to repair and it will decades, if it ever can be repaired.
So take your pick who can do the better job, of repairing this country.
In short I say this--- Mcsame is too old and set in his ways to do any repairing,

Hillary has too many pay backs–and will do what the rich will tell her to do.

Obama if he cannot shut up one preacher ?how in the hell can be he run this nation.

I may not vote this time around,
As I see it thru the eyes of an old man
Luis

Luis, I always find your flowing prose attractive to read for some reason. I don't always agree with what you write but this time I have to take exception to one glaring phrase the jumped off the page and slapped me in the face.  The phrase is above.

America hasn't become the land of rich people, in fact, it is fast becoming quite the opposite.  Do you realize that people can't afford to drive to work these days?  Do you realize that people are eating dogfood and choosing between groceries and medication every single day in this country.

Let's modify what you said to say that a few Americans have preyed upon the rest to become rich and above the law. I'll buy that.  And, unfortunately, those few are the governing body, be they elected officials or corporate executives (making 20 times what the workers who can't afford gas to get to work anymore are making)  bribing the elected officials.
