Kim, Dot, I just started a new thread on this board so I have one to keep up with.

ok you know we went to court May 9th, ( damn DSS case working again had us thinking this would be the last one) bull crap. We have to go back June 13th & July 18th. Now May 9 th judge ordered a mental work up on Grandmother & Albert(kid) & June 13th is to see if they are getting this ordered did. I been so upset I didn't want to come here & tell yall anything til I chill out about it!! Believe me I been hot over it.

July is to I guess set a nother court date, ok the way I am getting over this is the fact that as of Aug 15th Albert will be with us a Year ( 1 whole year) & by law DSS has to have the kid placed by then, so the hell with what the Case worker is saying for now on til Aug 15th, I am looking for that date to be a end to this. We didn't want to spend money on summer camp for Albert if they was going to change their minds & send him back to grandmother (May 9th court date) but we know he is going to be here til July 15th , & there would only be 2 weeks on camp (money wasted) so that wouldn't be to much to waste. You see what I mean by , we never know what we can do with the kid. So he is off to Day camp ( 6 hours aday) come June 2th. We didn't want him gone from home @ night this 1st year. Maybe next year, we will see then .
Last week of school his Child Case manager that I ask  for came to the  school to watch him for a day, she will be helping us with Albert thur the summer also. I hope I have enough crap line up for him to keep him busy. lol
 You know I think that Judge is just sticking this out to keep the Dss a job! lol if I ever dislike anyone , it is DSS. They may do good in some cases but , there is another lady here in NC that is having hell getting her son back. He has ADHD also. ( she is on a group I am in call " I love my ADHD kid"" Why did they take the kid in the 1st place? cause her husband hit the kid, not hard just like any daddy does when their son causes troulbe in school. He did it a head of a teacher who you know call Dss & made it seem more then a little pop. ( Albert case worker believe in spanking , so if I ever spank him, I want have any problem with her, she has told me to spank him if needes it).  ok he is doing well right now. But you know how they go up & down with the moods. I have found 1 way to stop his being a smart ass. ( it may not work the next  time but for now I use it.) The last time we got into it. I was feeling like shit, & sad about my kids being away from them, Albert was just being plain mean , everything that came out of his mouth was just mean, I walk up to him, put my arms around him, & told him, that I loved him no matter what , & that I am not given up on him no matter how mean he wants to act. You thought I painted a happy face on him! & if that is all it is going to take to get him to be good, then I will hug, kiss & tell him I love him every hour lol  well it is late. & I will stop for now. YAll pray for us. We need all the  prayes we can get!
