From the Forums:

Weight Question
Oscarette asks: "I have a question about Blaze... he's eating two scoops of Legend's 12% in AM & PM, plus has access to a round bale all of the time and has 11 acres at a time of "so-so" grass... 24/7. He was looking better in the summer, but has dropped weight again. He's been bony most of his life (he's 4 1/2) and has been wormed and vet checked... they just keep telling me that he needs to put on weight. I'm giving him corn oil (1/2 c. AM & PM) with his grain. Anything else you might suggest?"

Blanketing Question
KayDaisy asks: "I know it's not even fall yet, but round here in NE it gets super cold in the winter and I was wondering what sort of blanket you guys would recommend I get for my horse. I was looking in the Dover Catalogue and it's crazy. Turnout blankets, stable blankets, medium weight, light weight, ones with the hood, ones without the hood. I don't know how I should realistically make my decision. So, I'm hoping you guy can offer some opinions and some experiences you've had with different blankets."

Quote of the Week
