Well I did it ,after 5 months he has sat with oonly 3 weeks riding I decide on one of the windiest days of the year to take him for a ride.He was an old hand at being saddled and bridled,so I took that as a good sign .But stillnot feeling real brave i lunged for 5 mins or so and he was just fine with the wind blowing and the young horse bucking and running. So I took a big breath of courage(even though i had his head tied up so he couldn't get it between his knees) andi jumped on.Well he was like an old broke boy nothing much fazes him and when i trotted him out a bit I was not riding the jack hammer of last summer. We didn't ride far as the wind a a chill to it to it but we rode and thats what counts.
I am very impressed with Jag and how well he did,as well as the fact he has smoothed some too.So Steve and i have lots of riding plans now and hopefully this year i can get some miles on Niner and we will then have 3 broke horses.
