I could sure use a hug
Last nite my loving canine companion of 11 years
passed on to the rainbowbridge
My heart aches so much
People will say she was only a dog
but she was so much more than that to me
all who met her fell in love with her
even the ones that were terrified of Rotties
she was the most loving of creatures
had a passion for cats and firmly believed that she had to convince each and every one
what a good girl she was and that she should be part of their life
she never growled
I truly believe she did not know how
and she would let any other dog know that to growl at a human was wrong
I will miss her

Erica,
My heart goes out to you and my thoughts will be with you. Only animal lovers like us can acknowledge the emptiness you feel right now. 's to you.
Brina will live on forever in your heart and memories.

For Erica:
If tears could build a stairway,
And memories a lane,
I would walk my way to Heaven
And bring you home again.

Thank you dear friends for your kind understanding thoughts and Sherri that poem has been going around and around in my head and heart
Brina is burried under our pear tree next to her canine buddy Wuffie {Bermese/Retriever} who we lost October 2003 .... Brina and I both missed him so badly too .......and I know that they are together again waiting for me and I almost met up with them this December , yes i almost died myself , but it was not my time yet i guess. I heard them tell me to go back and I heard my horses and donkey tell me not to go over and over in my mind ...... my family also sat with me in the hospital telling me over and over that i was still needed here , so i came back and am glad i still have time to do what i need to do but oh there is such an ache in my heart. I still have my rescue cats to love and care for and a family whom i adore and i know who love me and friends such as you to come to for comfort and I thank you from the bottom of my heart
Blessings and Love
Erica

Erica I am so sorry for you loss. Having lost my fair share of 4 legged kids it does hurt something bad.
