Chocolate Earthquake Cake

1 German chocolate cake mix with pudding
1 cup flaked coconut
1 cup chocolate chips (optional)
1 cup chopped pecans
1 (8 oz) pkg. cream cheese
1 lb. powdered sugar
1/2 cup melted butter
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 325ºF (165ºC). Spray a 9x13-inch pan with cooking spray.

Spread coconut, chocolate chips and pecans over bottom of pan. Mix cake mix
according to package directions. Pour over the pecans, chips and coconut.

Beat the cream cheese, melted butter and vanilla together until smooth; add
in powdered sugar and mix until well combined. Spoon cream cheese mixture
evenly over the cake batter.

Bake for 45 minutes at 325º, then turn heat up to 350º and continue baking
for 20 more minutes or until cake is done.

Not the prettiest cake, but really good!
