I took this biding to mean  6 D's  5 spades.    When I  said it shows 6 /5  pard said  how do I show 5/5  then?   and I say bid  the major first then minor  2 times   

Pard says but I have 16 points!     I dont know how to explain this so I   am  posting it here  to get answers.   

I know  with  5/5 in the black suits and  weak hand  you open  the  clubs first

 Is  there a way to make this clear?   

I know   I was wrong  to go 6   I  was wrong all day so.........and maybe  wrong on bidding the  major first here  too
