Chalandor is a proposed site on a 39 acre tract of land in the eastern portion of Washington State on the Banks of the Snake River. The nearest town, Starbuck, has a population of 75 and is 7 miles away. The nearest large towns are Walla Walla (60 miles), Tri Cities (60 miles), and Spokane (90miles) away. Lyons Ferry Park is 1.3miles away and has a marina, beach and RV hook up facilities.

Cruise liners and Paddlewheel boat tours do travel by on the Snake River on a daily basis.

 

This site is proposed to be a self supporting community of the Coven of Light and Shadows of Chalandor by becoming a Medieval themed Resort Village and covenstead with housing for full time staff coveners, shoppes and cottage lodging. The outlying areas will be the designated place for our animals and farms, a gypsy caravan camping area and marketplace, At the center of it all will be a 3 story castle housing luxury Bed & Breakfast suites, a chapel for handfastings and rituals, a holistic health spa, a restaurant and pub.

 

Seasonal events are planned to commemorate the Sabbats of the year and the honor the time period of the compound.
