Spells are focused intentions and energy aimed at changing something.
Karma is the payback of those Spells.
Good/Positive Spells result in good Karmic payoff
Bad/Negative Spells result in consequences I don't EVEN want to think about.
The Wiccan Rede
( the guideline to which most wiccans aspire to) states:
"...Eight words the Wiccan Rede fulfill, As ye Harm None, Do as ye Will"
Some take that to mean that we can do anything we want, and according to the concept of free will, we can, BUT this caveat permiates RESPONSIBILITY into the choices we make. Not only to our Deity, but to others and ourselves.
Spells (energy) sent out into the universe to effect change will return to us bringing back whatever we send out 3 fold. We call this "The Law of Return"
So whatever spell you choose to cast needs to be thought over and examined to determine the long term repercussions. Also know that casting spells is not just snapping your fingers and having what you desire appear before you. Spells are a directive force fueled by true intent and determination to manifest ideals.
Uttering phrases and lighting incense and candles will do nothing if the power of Self is not applied.
"You make your ideals REAL by your actions"
For instance: You want to have a clean and organized desk. You lack the desire to get up and actually do it, and wouldn't know where to put all the stuff that's piled up on it.
Your inaction reveals your true ideals.
To effect change, you focus on your true ideals.
- Is a messy desk what you really want?
- Is it a symbol of defiance?
- Do you feel pride in wearing the staus of a rebel by refusing to conform to the accepted cleanliness protocols of society?
- Do you secretly feel people who have clean desks are anally retentive?
- Do you in your heart of hearts wish you could be a model of success by having a beautifully organised and effiecient desk regardless of social norms and perhaps even impress others by being so awesome, yet fear failure?
When you have peeled away all of the excuses and underlying reasons why your desk has remained a disaster area, you can focus on a inpired mindset to make the changes you truly have set for yourself, you have made the first step in clearing the clutter. Cast your spell, and watch the solutions blossom in your mind. You will find that the first things you clear away, the place to put them will pop into your head. then another and another until before you know it, the desk is clean and you are wiping off the dust from the actual surface of the desk.
All the same principals to cleaning your desk can be applied to preparing your kitchen for healthy foods!!
Casting Spells is not calling up demons, it tackling a problem and achieving a goal.
It's an affirmation of empowerment and implementation of TRUE ideals.
